These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of ThriftX, our mobile application and related services (together, the "Service"). By downloading, accessing, or using ThriftX, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
By creating an account or otherwise using ThriftX, you confirm that you can form a binding contract, that you accept these Terms, and that you agree to comply with them. We may update these Terms from time to time as described in Section 12; continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
ThriftX is a search aggregator. It lets you search across multiple third-party secondhand marketplaces (currently Depop, Poshmark, Vinted, eBay, Mercari, and ThredUp) from a single app, and surfaces matching listings from those marketplaces.
ThriftX does not sell, own, ship, authenticate, or otherwise handle any of the items shown in search results. Every listing belongs to a third-party marketplace and its respective seller. ThriftX has no control over — and makes no representation regarding — the accuracy of listings, the availability or condition of items, seller conduct, pricing, or the completion of any transaction. When you choose to purchase an item, you leave ThriftX and transact directly on the third-party marketplace, and that marketplace's own terms of service, policies, and buyer protections apply to your purchase, not these Terms.
ThriftX uses credits to meter usage of certain search features. Different search types consume different amounts of credit:
These costs may change from time to time; we'll make reasonable efforts to notify you of material changes in-app.
Each subscription plan (including the Free plan) grants a set number of credits on a recurring, roughly 30-day cycle. Unused plan credits do not roll over and are forfeited at the start of the next cycle.
Credits purchased separately as a top-up, or granted as a bonus or promotion, do not expire and are not affected by your monthly plan credit refresh.
Paid plans are subscriptions that automatically renew each billing cycle until cancelled. All subscriptions are billed, managed, and cancelled through your Apple App Store account — ThriftX does not process payments directly. To cancel, go to your device's App Store subscription settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with Apple's App Store terms and policies; ThriftX cannot issue refunds directly.
We may change subscription prices going forward. Where required, we will provide advance notice before a price change takes effect on your subscription.
To keep ThriftX fast and reliable for everyone, a fair-use limit of 50 searches per day applies to all accounts. We may throttle, rate-limit, or suspend access for accounts that abuse or attempt to circumvent credit metering or fair-use limits.

The ThriftX app, its design, branding, logos, and underlying technology are owned by ThriftX or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding. Listings, images, and product content displayed within search results remain the property of their respective marketplaces and sellers.
ThriftX displays content sourced from third-party marketplaces. We do not review, verify, or endorse this content, and we are not responsible for its accuracy, legality, or availability. Any dispute arising from a listing, a purchase, a seller, or a marketplace transaction is between you and that third party, and is governed by that third party's own terms.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT SEARCH RESULTS WILL BE ACCURATE OR COMPLETE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THRIFTX AND ITS OPERATORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE OR ANY TRANSACTION CONDUCTED ON A THIRD-PARTY MARKETPLACE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO THRIFTX IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $50, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.
You may stop using ThriftX and delete your account at any time (Profile → Delete Account). We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent or abusive behavior, or for any other reason at our discretion. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 6 through 9) will survive.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service, including specific features, marketplaces searched, or credit costs, at any time.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you in-app or by email. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects when the Terms were last revised. Your continued use of ThriftX after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of your country of residence to the extent required by applicable law; otherwise, they are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
